We take great pride in making sure our guests are comfortable during

their stay. See below for the terms and conditions for staying at The

Creative Cottage – please familiarize yourself and your guests with this

information prior to your stay with us.

General

– We are a non-smoking facility

– No pets allowed

– Meals for the retreat are the responsibility of the hosting party

– No open flames or grease cooking allowed

– We expect our guests to treat the house with respect and reasonable care

– Minimum Number of Guests to book: 10; Maximum Number of Guests: 14

– Check in time: 10am; Check out time: 3pm

– Guests will leave the house and grounds in a clean and orderly fashion including

– Washing all dishes and kitchen utensils

– Removing all food from the refrigerators

– Removing all sheets from beds used

– Emptying all trash bins from desk areas, bathrooms and kitchen and place in

   outdoor trash receptacle

Payment

– Please call or email for current rates

– A $200 deposit is required to reserve your space at The Creative Cottage

– The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date

– The individual “hostess” who pays the deposit will also be responsible for signing the

rental agreement and is ultimately held accountable for any damages to The Creative

Cottage caused by any person in their group.

– The hostess will write one check, Zelle or Venmo the owner for the remaining event fees.

We do not accept PayPal or credit cards.

– If the balance is not received 30 days prior to the retreat, your reservation may be

cancelled and the deposit may be forfeited. If you are unable to make your reservation at

the last minute as the hostess, please appoint someone else in your group to be hostess in

your place.

Cancellation

– More than 60 days cancellation notice-eligible for a full refund less a $50.00 processing fee

– 30-60 days cancellation notice – hostess forfeits deposit

– Less than 30 days cancellation notice – hostess (and her guests) forfeit all monies paid

– Should a reservation be cancelled by us, due to no fault of our own (natural disaster or

property emergency), your reservation may be transferred to another weekend or

refunded in full

Liability

– Any personal injury will NOT be the responsibility of The Creative Cottage. Injury to any

guest in The Creative Cottage or surrounding property, is the financial responsibility of the

individual guest.

– The Creative Cottage is not liable for any loss, damages or claims resulting for any reason

whatsoever for any events outside of the control of The Creative Cottage. Including, but

not limited to, theft, loss of power, utilities, service interruptions (cable, internet), etc.

Privacy

The Creative Cottage respects your privacy and any information given to us will not be shared

with others or used for unintended purposes.
