Meet Sherrie – who dreamed of owning her own crafting retreat house with a spacious and bright crafting space, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and a well-functioning kitchen. 

Sherrie has been a life-long crafter with an eye for beautiful design and has organized crafting retreats for up to 20 people at a time for over 20 years.  After losing her close friend (Ginger Ropp) from COVID and realizing how short life is, Sherrie decided to go after her dream.  Sherrie and her husband Tom bought a house to turn into a crafting retreat house.  After extensive remodeling, The Creative Cottage was born and opened in early 2022! 

Sherrie and Tom are excited to share “The Creative Cottage” to enable others to spend time together and create life-long memories while also creating their favorite craft projects.

Come get away and spend some relaxing time with your friends scrapbooking, quilting, stamping, painting, drawing, or whatever craft you love. You will find great ideas and be inspired by those around you, not to mention sharing stories and lots of laughter.  You’ll go home with your soul refreshed and counting down the days until your next retreat!
